TAG, AXE, and their ilk will not get you laid. Women just think you smell like a 7th-grader that smells like a gym locker. It's a cute fantasy and all, to think that you could actually get cruised more than Nick Lachey, but it's not gonna happen.

Los Angeles, California I'm a twentysomething white male with ambitions to be a professional film critic and generally spend my days getting paid to watch movies and write about it. I try not to think too hard about how I want to build my life around talking about other people's creations and not mine. A compulsive reader and stubborn cineaste, I take an often contrary stance to my more fundamentalist peers and upbringing by celebrating the pursuit of the good, and the Good, in life, love, art and film. If you watched enough episodes of a few TV shows ("The Hungry and the Hunted," "The Cut Man Cometh," "The Body," "Waiting in the Wings," "Out of Gas," "April is the Cruelest Month," "20 Hours in America," "Colonial Day" for starters), you would understand me completely, and you'd also realize that much of my worldview and philosophical insights are heavily influenced by fictional works/programs, and many of the good things I've said in my life are just a regurgitation of someone else's imaginings. To add on:
The more you use does not mean the more women you will get or the more they will pursue you. Please stop using a can and a half each moring. Also, I'm quite sure some sort of cancer will develop from such heavy use. Re: For Your Edification

Oh man I hate walking by someone who reaks like cologne/perfume of any kind, too much gives me a huge headache. However I have to disagree on Axe/Tag not helping you get laid. Smelling good will always HELP you get laid. Though it might not get you laid in itself.
Full disclosure, yeah I use both seperately in moderation, yeah my girlfriend really likes them. Also, most of these people agree. Re: For Your Edification

I hate the stuff. Several men in my office go to the gym at lunch. Instead of taking an extra 15 minutes to shower, they bathe in Axe and go back to work. The stench of body odour and Axe is just about enough to gag me. Although I do like the ad, and it's the first time I've ever found Lachey appealing. |
